Concept Design & Fabrication

This build was commissioned by the series Player Piano as part of its Super Mario Brothers Medley campaign in conjunction with Nintendo's 30th anniversary of Mario Brothers. It has been highlighted in the press as "the most creative musical instrument ever built". The piano was designed to harken back to the original Nintendo Entertainment System, with features including a working power LED, accurate jumbo-sized RCA coaxial cables and plugs, and a detailed replica of the Nintendo controller as a functioning bench.
